Ushering Team – MFM Kubwa Region 5

Mission

The ushering team is gatekeepers in the house of the Lord. God’s people enter with peace and order. Clean hearts and holy hands mark this service. The fear of God guides each step. Love fuels each action.

Vision

God’s gatekeepers arise in His church. Calm descends where they stand. Peace fills the atmosphere. The house of prayer finds protection. Souls fix their gaze on God alone.

Our Roles in the House of God

Before Service Starts

• Prayer First: The team gathers in prayer before work begins. The Holy Spirit takes full control. Heaven directs each action.
• Prepare the Church: Chairs stand in order. Microphones carry sound. Fans and lights function. Cleaning prepares the sanctuary for glory.
• Welcome Early Comers: Smiles greet the faithful. Hands guide souls to their seats. Strangers find love. Elders receive honour.

During Service

• Help in Giving Time: Offering moves in holy silence. Noise departs. Confusion scatters. Giving flows as unto the Lord.
• Support the Pastor: Water refreshes the man of God. Microphones stay ready. Eyes remain open during deliverance. Prayer intensifies in the spirit realm.
• Watch Over the Church: Movements receive attention. Distractions scatter. Worshippers remain undisturbed in their encounter with God.

After Service

• Clean Again: Order returns to the sanctuary. Chairs find their places. Lost items await their owners. The next service finds preparation.
• Talk to New People: Welcome forms reach new souls. Leaders connect with seekers. The church opens wider. The family of faith expands.

What We Must Do Always

• Come Early: Latecomers find no place here. Prayer begins the work. God honours those who rise early for His house.
• Dress Holy: Clean and decent attire honours Jesus. Show-off finds no entry. Loud fashion fades. Modesty wears the crown.
• Share Materials: Hymn books reach waiting hands. Prayer booklets distribute. Offering envelopes and bulletins find each soul. None lack what they need.
• Stay Ready: Alertness marks the true gatekeeper. Help arrives the moment need appears. The Spirit prompts. The usher moves.
• Secure God’s House: Windows close. Fans power down. Locks secure the sanctuary. The house of God rests under protection.
