The Spiritual Battle One Cannot See
In life, many believers wonder why things are not working as they should. They pray, fast, and strive to live righteously, yet they face constant attacks. This is not just a physical battle, it is a spiritual one. Many people are under the control of a hidden force, a spiritual remote control, that manipulates their decisions, finances, health, and relationships. This spiritual influence is subtle but powerful, steering them in the wrong direction.
The Bible speaks of the thief in John 10:10, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. This thief is a spiritual force that operates behind the scenes to cause havoc in the lives of believers. Satan has agents working tirelessly to pull God’s children away from their divine destiny. And the most dangerous part is that many people are unaware of this invisible warfare.
When talking about a “spiritual remote control,” it refers to the invisible forces that control a person’s mind, emotions, and decisions. These forces do not come to help, they come to hold a believer in bondage. Just as a remote control can change the channel on a TV, these spiritual forces change the direction of a person’s life without them even realizing it. The enemy understands that if he can control one’s mind and actions, he can destroy their destiny. He does not come with horns and fire; he comes subtly, often using things that look harmless. But he is always at work, pulling strings in the unseen realm.
The Power of the Remote Control
To break this down in a way that makes sense for daily life, think of a remote control. When a button is pressed, it directs the TV to do something: change the channel, increase the volume, or turn off completely. Similarly, there are spiritual forces that press “buttons” in a person’s life. These buttons can cause people to act in ways that go against God’s will. For instance, the enemy can press the “anger” button, leading a person to lose their temper, destroy relationships, or make foolish decisions.
The first thing one needs to understand is that spiritual manipulation can happen in many ways. The devil uses various agents to manipulate thoughts, emotions, and actions. The enemy can press buttons that will cause people to fall into sin, break relationships, or fail in their endeavors. But today, God is calling all believers to rise up and break free from this spiritual remote control.
The Spiritual Warfare That Must Be Fought
Now, how does one fight against this invisible control? How does one take back the authority that the enemy has stolen? The first key to victory is understanding that the battle is real. Many believers walk around as if there is no spiritual warfare. They go about their daily lives without recognizing that the devil is out there looking for whom he can destroy. Eyes must be opened to see the battle for what it is, spiritual warfare.
In Ephesians 6:12, the Bible makes it clear:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
This scripture gives spiritual insight that the battle being faced is not physical but spiritual. One cannot fight a spiritual battle with physical means. If anyone is to break free from the control of the enemy, they must engage in spiritual warfare. This involves prayer, fasting, and standing firm in faith.
Break Free from the Remote Control
To regain control of life and destiny, one must make the decision to stand against these invisible forces. Prayer is the key that unlocks the door to freedom. Believers should begin by speaking to the forces controlling their lives, commanding them to release them in the name of Jesus. Using the authority that God has given is crucial. No one needs to fear the enemy because greater is He that is in believers than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
When praying with authority, chains that have been holding one back are broken. Prayer must be done with faith, knowing that the Lord will fight for believers and give them victory. In Luke 10:19, Jesus says:
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
This is the assurance that one can fight and win! No power of darkness can stand against the power of God. The spiritual remote control that has been manipulating lives is broken today in the mighty name of Jesus.
Take Authority in Prayer
Starting the day with prayers that affirm authority in Christ is crucial. Upon waking, believers should declare that the remote control of the enemy will no longer have power over their lives. Authority should be taken over every force working against destiny. These declarations must be prayed:
1. I bind every evil remote control that is operating in my life in the name of Jesus!
2. I cancel every evil plan set against my life by any hidden force, in the name of Jesus!
3. I declare that I am free from the manipulation of the enemy in Jesus’ name!
These prayers must become daily weapons in the spiritual battle. The devil cannot stand against a believer who understands their authority in Christ. Prayers should be violent, full of faith, and persistent. Never back down or be intimidated by the forces that oppose one.

Victory is Yours!
A believer is not a victim; they are a victor in Christ. God has already given them everything needed to overcome the enemy and take control of life. They should not let the enemy manipulate them any longer. Rising up in the power of God’s word, believers can take back what is rightfully theirs. The spiritual remote control is broken, and they are free!
Prayer:
Father, I come before You today in the name of Jesus. I take authority over every spiritual remote control that has been manipulating my live. I command every evil force to release us now, in Jesus’ name! We declare that I am free from every hidden influence and that Your power is at work in our lives. I walk in victory, and nothing can stop us. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
