Understanding God’s Plan for Your Life

God has a purpose for every person. Some people succeed, while others face struggles. Those who follow God walk in His light, but those who don’t know Him live in darkness. The difference is knowing God’s truth, which breaks every chain of sin. The devil tries to keep people from learning this truth. As the Bible says in John 8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Salvation is the key to eternal victory.

The Problem with Living Without God

Many people spend their lives chasing money, success, or fun, but their hearts stay empty. They fight battles they don’t understand and feel trapped by invisible forces. They build big things but still lack peace. Why? Because humans were made to live with God. Just as a fish needs water or a tree needs roots, people need God. Without Him, life feels lost and unsafe.

What Salvation Really Means

The devil lies by making people think salvation is just about rules, church, or good deeds. But salvation is not religion—it is a powerful change. It means trading your old sinful life for a new life in Jesus. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” True salvation transforms you. Chains break, your identity changes, and you gain power in the spirit.

The Foundation of Salvation: The Blood of Jesus

Salvation is built on the blood of Jesus. From the beginning, God’s law said sin requires a blood sacrifice (Hebrews 9:22). Animal sacrifices couldn’t remove sin, but Jesus, the perfect Lamb, paid the price once and for all. On the cross, Jesus took our sin and shame and gave us His righteousness and eternal life. This was God’s plan to rescue man.

How to Receive Salvation

Jesus paid for salvation, but you must choose to accept it. Many hear about Jesus but never act. The Bible warns in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Don’t just admire Jesus—surrender to Him. To be saved, you must:

  1. Turn away from sin.
  2. Believe Jesus died for you and rose again.
  3. Confess Him as your personal Lord and Saviour.

Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” In one moment, your life can be changed while your sins are forgiven, and your destiny is rewritten.

Salvation Brings The New Identity

Salvation isn’t just escaping hell—it makes you a child of God. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” You gain access to God, authority over sin, and a heavenly inheritance. Old curses break, and God’s protection overshadows you.

Why Wait—Choose Jesus Today

Many say, “I’ll follow Jesus later,” but “later” is a dangerous lie. No one knows when life will end. Hebrews 2:3 asks, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?” Only Jesus can save. Don’t gamble with your soul. God calls you now: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). This rest is salvation, peace, and safety even in the bosom of our Lord and Saviour, forever.

Your Decision Matters

Battles rage for your soul. Delaying salvation helps the devil. God’s door is open, but you must step in. Surrender fully to Jesus—not halfway. Choose life. Choose Jesus. Choose salvation today and you will never remain the same.
